Covid -19 update
Gnash Comics is now operating on-line through our web shop and social media. It is inevitable that the global epidemic is affecting everyone in the Comics Industry and this week we were informed by our distributor of monthly comics that no comics would be delivered during the lockdown. There are two key problems; first difficulties shipping comics from the U.S. due to the lockdown, and second not being able to achieve social distance in the Diamond Comic Distributors Warehouse, which has forced them to close to protect their staff. The comics will arrive but will be delayed. Graphic Novels are not impacted if they are already published as various UK bases publishers and distributors are still operating and can supply these these. So simply your monthly comic order will be delayed. Graphic Novels, Trade Paperbacks (collected series of monthly comics) can still be ordered.
If you wish to cancel your comic order we completely understand. You can do this by cancelling your payment. If you are happy to wait then all payments will be credited to your account. You can of course change your mind at a later date and request a refund of your credit.
We are extremely grateful for all your support and loyalty and hope that we will still be waving the flag for comics, in all genres, later this year. To all of our lovely customers: we want to let you know that we have a duty of care to you and our employees. So, we are following advice from Public Health England in regards to how we can do our bit to help minimize the spread of corona virus.
We are taking extra care with sanitizing surfaces and contact points in and around the shop.
Please feel free to use our facilities to wash your hands prior to browsing with us. Feel free to wash your hands just before you leave too, if you like.
If you’re feeling unwell, please stay at home and rest up until you are better. Feel free to phone or email us. We can list products on our online shop for you to buy if you’d like to browse online from home. We can arrange postage out to you, too.
We will remain open until we are advised otherwise, in the interests of letting our customers read good books, graphic novels and comics.
