Ever wondered what all those people were doing at Gnash Comics on a Friday night? Heard people talk about Magic the Gathering but never felt you could ask? Or just starting out on the Magic the Gathering journey and looking for somewhere to hone your skills. Then come along to our Newbie Night on Wednesday 11 Jan 2017 at 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. And discover the wonder of Magic. You take on the role of a planeswalker and use your creatures, spells and enchantments to win over your enemies. That said of course it gets far more intriguing and engrossing as you learn to the strengths and weakness of your opponent’s cards as well as your own!
Why should you come and play? Well Magic is social, fun, mentally challenging, great artwork and back stories to the characters in your pack, accessible for all ages, and will not demand wasting money on consoles for video games, or bug financial outlays to get started. In fact, if you come along to our newbie Introduction night on Wednesday 11 January you will get a totally free pack of 60 cards to get you started. So, what is there to lose, all ages welcome.
